Have you ever had a website built and then let it sit there? That my friend, is like putting up a sign in the desert.
Have you ever had a website designed and built and let it sit there? Thats as good as a Taj Mahal in the desert.
We’ve had clients that spend anywhere from $5K to $50K to build a website with us. For any business, those are sizeable amounts.
But unless there are safaris taking tours, jeeps for the rugged traveller, tour guides and marketing promoting your website -
HOW DO YOU EXPECT PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR TAJ?
A website is only worth the initial cost if you get wear from it. Wear in this case is visits.
So how do you get people to visit your website?
Break it down into two primary methods. And make sure you cover both methods in some way / form (as always, the more the better).
The Real World. Talk. Print it out – flyers / posters / advertising Get people to talk about it (a Taj Mahal is worth talking about, no one is going to talk about a stock standard home unless its related to gossip. Just sayin…)
The Digital World. Social Media, plug it and plug it good. Make it a resource, make people come back willingly. Have it optimised for search engines – this isn’t just keywords and tags…(do me a favour, search for “Dance Brochure Designs” here: https://www.google.com.au ) – that is an optimised site. Connect with people only and get featured on their websites.
Covert it into a lead. An enquiry. A question. A friend. An advisor. A pat on the back.
I can hear your disbelief. But I have got all of the above via our website. Someone found or shared the Kish+Co website and thru that, I got a ping / a message / a call.
As Emily always says – it’s your shopfront.
It’s your business instantly accessible. Make it good + make sure people know about it.
